About the Event Paddle for a Purpose

Team Registration for 2026 (New Platform!)
We’re excited to announce that this year’s Enbridge Canoe for Kids registration is on a new platform. Even if you’ve joined us before, you’ll need to create a new account and team page for 2026—but don’t worry, it’s easier than ever!
How it works:
- We are using JustGiving as our team registration and fundraising platform.
- Fundraising is optional and not required to participate.
- If you already have a JustGiving account, you can log in with your existing account. New users will need to create a free JustGiving account. See below for a step-by-step guide.
- Team Captains: After creating your account, you can set up your team page and invite paddlers to join your team by sending them your team link.
- Corporate Matching & Offline Gifts: Some of our teams receive corporate matches (which we love!). If you happen to get a donation by cheque and want it matched, let us know and we’ll help you submit it as an ‘offline gift’ so that it can be matched by your workplace.
Step by Step Registration Guide
All participants must create a personal page through JustGiving in order to register for the event and join or create a team.
While JustGiving is a fundraising platform, fundraising is not required to participate in Canoe for Kids. However, we encourage teams to consider fundraising to help send more children to Christie Lake Kids’ cost-free summer camp.
