About the Event Rolling for a Cause: The 3rd Annual Altis Bocce Battle raises $50,000 for Christie Lake Kids!

On Wednesday, September 17, 2025, the bocce balls were rolling and the energy was high at Wesley Clover Parks for the 3rd Annual Altis Bocce Battle!

Hosted and organized by Altis Recruitment, the event brought together corporate teams from across the region for a tournament with a purpose. This year’s Bocce Battle raised an incredible $50,000 each in support of Christie Lake Kids and CHEO’s Mental Health Unit, for a total of $100,000! The funds raised will help provide children and youth facing barriers with access to transformative programs and opportunities.

The Bocce Battle celebrates the life and legacy of Toni Guimaraes, the late co-founder of Altis and, a long-time supporter of Christie Lake Kids. Bocce was one of Toni’s favourite games, and this event continues his legacy of uplifting children and youth in our community.
