Joining us from CHEO, she held the role of Director of Communications at the CHEO Research Institute, and most recently the role of Chief Communications Officer (since 2017). Her portfolio includes internal and external communications, creative services, health promotion and volunteer resources. She leads her team by example and is highly creative, enthusiastic and results-driven. Above all, a proud parent herself, she wants to help the children and youth we serve to live their best lives.
Adrienne has held various management roles in marketing, public relations and communications in Ottawa’s high-technology sector, including IBM. She gained her initial experience during the dot-com boom — helping to launch start-ups and attract funding for organizations across health-care, security, education and entertainment industries.
Adrienne holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Ottawa and a diploma in public relations from Algonquin College.
