Despite less-than-ideal weather conditions on Saturday, June 6, the 30th Enbridge Canoe for Kids was an incredible success, bringing together participants, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters for a memorable day of community spirit and generosity.
As Christie Lake Kids celebrated this milestone anniversary, the event demonstrated the power of a community coming together to support local children and youth. The enthusiasm, dedication, and commitment shown throughout the day helped make the 30th annual event one of the most memorable to date.
Together, sponsors, participants and supporters raised an outstanding $143,500, helping send hundreds of children to Christie Lake Kids Camp. These funds will provide life-changing opportunities, meaningful experiences, and lasting memories for young people who may not otherwise have access to camp.
Heartfelt thanks went out to all paddlers, teams, volunteers, sponsors, donors, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event. Your generosity made a lasting impact on the lives of the children and families served by Christie Lake Kids.
