About the Event Our 2025 fundraising golf tournament is in support of our Leaders in Training programs which provide mentorship and guidance to youth aged 13-18.
Join us for an ‘all inclusive’ day of fun, camaraderie, and purpose at the 2025 Christie Lake Kids Golf Tournament! Held at the Emerald Links Golf & Country Club, this annual event brings together friends, colleagues, and supporters for an exciting day on the green, filled with friendly competition.
Each swing and putt will support Christie Lake Kids’ Leaders in Training programs, which provide mentorship, life skills, and community-building opportunities for youth aged 13-18, helping them thrive academically and prepare for future employment.
Event Schedule
- 11:00 AM – Registration & BBQ Lunch
- 12:30 PM – Shotgun Start
- 12:30–5:00 PM – Food & Game Holes on Course
- 5:00–5:30 PM – End of Play
- 5:30 PM – Open Bar & Dinner
Format
The tournament will be a scramble format.
On-Course Games & Activities
Keep your eyes open for a variety of free-to-play and pay-to-play games throughout the course, designed to challenge your skills and add a little extra fun to the round.
Dress Code
All golfers at Emerald Links Golf & Country Club must wear proper golf attire.
Ladies:
- Skirts, skorts, knee length shorts or slacks
- Collared golf shirt or mock-neck shirt
- Tops must have sleeves, if no sleeves tops must have a collar
- Proper footwear is a must and only soft spike golf shoes are allowed to be worn (no sandals or open-toe shoes permitted)
- Socks or sockets must be worn at all times
- No jeans, gym shorts or sweatpants
Men:
- Slacks, knee length shorts, dress shorts
- Collared golf shirt or mock-neck shirt
- Shirts with attached collars, tucked in at waist
- Proper footwear is a must and only soft spike golf shoes are allowed to be worn (no sandals or open-toe shoes permitted)
- Socks or sockets must be worn at all times
- No jeans, gym shorts or sweatpants
Course Policies
Emerald Links Golf & Country Club Course Policies
- Every golfer must have their own golf clubs or rental clubs when golfing (no sharing).
- Anyone operating a motorized cart must be over the age of 16 and have a valid driver’s license.
- At all times, there is a maximum of two (2) people per golf cart.
- All golfers are obligated to respect the golf course property, equipment, boundaries, staff and other golfers.
- All alcohol must be purchased in the clubhouse or from the beverage cart. If other alcohol is found in the golfers possession, they will be asked to dispose of the alcohol. No exceptions will be allowed.
- Upon completion of your 9- or 18-hole game, carts must be returned immediately and cannot be used to re-enter the course, driving range or for leisure play.
