About the Event Barry & The Blasters rocked the Rainbow Bistro to a sold-out crowd

Barry & The Blasters rocked the Rainbow Bistro on Saturday, April 5, 2025, delivering a mix of fan favourites, gems from the vault, as well as fresh new material. The sold out event was packed with an enthusiastic crowd who created an electric atmosphere throughout the night!

But the night wasn’t just about incredible music – the event raised over $11,950 in support of Christie Lake Kids! For more than 100 years, Christie Lake Kids has offered programming to Ottawa’s most vulnerable children and youth. What started as a summer camp for at-risk boys turned into year-round programming for girls and boys, giving them the chance to learn physical, social and emotional skills in a safe, encouraging, inclusive environment.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the night a success, and to Barry & The Blasters for their fantastic performance and all their efforts in putting the event together.
